The last game of the Disney-restarted 2019-20 NBA regular season might not have gone exactly how the Boston Celtics would have liked it with six of their best players out to rest, but there were a few noteworthy performances in the loss just the same.
While two way fan favorite Tacko Fall only played eight minutes in Thursday’s contest against the Washington Wizards, scoring four points and as many rebounds plus two blocks in just eight minutes of play while looking noticeably more mobile and strong.
But no player shined more brightly for the Celtics than reserve shooting guard Javonte Green against the Wizards.
The Radford product put up 23 points and four boards, at times seeming to be the only thing between Boston and a blowout by Washington’s bench players.
