It’s safe to say Steph Curry is ready for the regular season. After catching fire with a scorching fourth-quarter run, the two-time Most Valuable Player capped an impressive preseason performance against the Sacramento Kings with a game-winning jumper from way beyond the arc.
After shaving the Kings’ lead from 18 points to two, Curry had the ball in his hands with just a little over 10 seconds left on the clock. With time ticking down, Curry stepped back and drilled a signature long-distance 3-pointer to give the Warriors a one-point lead with seconds remaining.
Curry’s thrilling jumper sent the Chase Center crowd into a frenzy. Following Curry’s shot, De’Aaron Fox heaved a deep 3-pointer but couldn’t connect as the Warriors stole a win, 116-115.
