Watch: Steph Curry gets ridiculous lay-up to fall vs. Trail Blazers in 3rd quarter

During the third quarter of Wednesday’s tilt between the Trail Blazers and Warriors, Steph Curry added another highlight-worthy lay-up to his resume.

Whenever Steph Curry and Damian Lillard meet on the hardwood, the pair of All-Star point guards usually combine for a flurry of improbable shots.

In the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors tilt with the Portland Trail Blazers, Curry sunk a wild lay-up worthy of a must-watch highlight.

With the clock ticking down in the third quarter, Draymond Green found Curry cutting through the lane for a lay-up attempt. With Portland center Enes Kanter defending the rim, Curry launched a high-arcing lay-up that touched the top of the backboard. After spinning on top of the hoop, Curry’s lay-up dropped down back through the net.

Along with his ridiculous lay-up, Curry was fouled by Kanter on the attempt to set up the chance for a 3-point play.

Curry finished the contest with a game-high 35 points on 13-of-28 shooting from the field with seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 36 minutes.

Despite Curry’s effort, Lillard got the last laugh on Wednesday in the Pacific Northwest. The Portland point guard drilled a pair of clutch 3-pointers to set the Trail Blazers up for a 108-106 victory at the Moda Center.
