Spencer Dinwiddie knows a thing or two about game-winning shots that involve the Los Angeles Lakers. An LA native, the Brooklyn Nets point guard grew up watching the late, great Kobe Bryant.
Also, in the Nets’ last game before the NBA’s COVID-19 induced pandemic, Dinwiddie drained a game-winner of his own against his childhood team, in their own building.
So when it came time for the Lakers to go for the game-winner while trailing the Denver Nuggets 103-102 with 2.1 seconds left on the clock in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Dinwiddie knew exactly what was going to happen before it happened.
“AD [Anthony Davis] turnaround jumper for the win,” Dinwiddie said twice on TNT’s #NBATwitterLive.
Of course, Dinwiddie was right — and he made sure to let everyone know the second the shot went down (and again on Twitter Monday morning):

The Lakers now lead the Nuggets 1-0 in the Western Conference Finals. In the East, the Miami Heat lead the Boston Celtics 2-1.
