The Boston Celtics do not have a first round pick — or several, for that matter — for the first time in many years as things currently stand, and will need to really squeeze some value out of their sole 2021 draft pick, a second-rounder that will fall 45th overall.
And while this looks to be an especially deep draft looking forward, most astute basketball fans realize finding a player who will even stick in the league never mind excel halfway through the second round is something of a crapshoot. That being said, there may be some sleepers that the Celtics might do well to consider who could conceivably slip to Boston’s range.
