WATCH: Saints bag critical second-half INT vs. Bucs

Second-year safety Jordan Howden came up with a critical interception during Sunday’s contest between the Saints and the Buccaneers:

The New Orleans Saints have a huge opportunity for an upset against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road Sunday — and they have surprisingly held the momentum all game long.

The highly favored Bucs did start to gain some momentum in the second half, but the Saints responded with an interception off of quarterback Baker Mayfield by second-year safety Jordan Howden, which ended a drive that could have been promising for the Buccaneers.

The ball was tipped by Saints defensive end Carl Granderson, who got a hand up at the line of scrimmage. The Saints led the Bucs, 19-13 at the bottom of the third quarter.
