As 22 teams are Orlando bound for the NBA’s summer restart, members of the already eliminated Golden State Warriors are hitting the gym to begin their extended offseason.
Over the past handful of weeks, videos have surfaced of players returning to the court, including Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins.
Wiggins and Curry’s videos have primarily focused on their shooting, but Ky Bowman’s clip was a bit different. On Monday, the Golden State Warriors rookie point guard shared a video showing off his bounce on Instagram.
At the Unlimited Potential basketball training facility in the Bay Area, Bowman exploded to the hoop with an emphatic through the legs slam dunk. In the caption, Bowman wrote, “START MONDAY OFF STRONG #IAGILITY.”
Watch Bowman’s full video on his Instagram @kyranbowman:
In his debut season in the NBA, the Boston College product averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 45 games. After starting the year on a two-way contract, Bowman’s rookie campaign earned him a multi-year deal in Golden State.
Over the Warriors’ extended offseason, Bowman will compete with Damion Lee, Jordan Poole and potentially a top-five draft pick for a spot behind Klay Thompson and Curry in the rotation.
