It might not have been All-Star level play, but Boston Celtics second-year shooting guard Romeo Langford had a very solid outing in his first start of the 2020-21 NBA season and third-ever shot at the starting lineup.
Sidelined since mid-September in the 2020 Playoffs in the Disney bubble until this week, Langford looked to be rounding into form with his play against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, scoring 6 points and 6 assists while going 2-of-3 from beyond the arc to help lead the team to a much-needed, 101 – 99 win over the Knicks at TD Garden. In 25 minutes of floor time, the Indiana native only turned the ball over once and drew 2 personal fouls, showing signs of the player he may grow into.
And Langford is already providing key wing depth at a time the team truly needs it.
