Robert Williams III has slowly emerged as one of the Boston Celtics’ more reliable forces, whether coming off of the bench or in a starting role.
He may not put up gaudy stat lines, but he almost always leaves an imprint on the game while chipping in impressive, well-rounded performances that help the team in a variety of ways, and Monday night’s 115 – 109 home loss to the New Orleans Pelicans was no exception. Timelord put up 7 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks in 32 minutes of floor time, a career high for the Texas A&M product.
Having taken on a bigger role after the 2021 NBA trade deadline, Williams has done a solid job for the Celtics as a starter, even shining in the role at times.
