While the majority of Boston Celtics fans would probably like to forget about the debacle that was the Celtics’ 117-110 road loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, fan favorite big man Robert Williams III inched closer to a starting role with a season-high 27 minutes of game time, one of a few bright spots for Boston in the avoidable loss.
Timelord produced an impressive 13 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks in the game, hitting 6-of-7 from the floor and 1-of-2 from the line with just 1 turnover and 4 personal fouls. Williams continues to earn head coach Brad Stevens’ trust with games like these, and we can expect to see more of them — hopefully wins — in the near future with some luck.
