The New England Patriots reunited with J. C. Jackson via a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday.
Several members of the organization were excited by the move, including Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who took the time to visit with Jackson at Thursday’s practice.
Jackson was an integral part of New England’s defense during his run with the team. He was an All-Pro cornerback in his final year with the team back in 2021, after recording eight interceptions and starting in all 17 games.
Now, he is returning to a New England defensive unit that has been bitten by the injury bug over the past couple weeks.

It remains to be seen what type of contributions Jackson will be able to provide. At the very least, this seems like a popular move within the Patriots’ organization.
