The Dallas Renegades did not have much to be glad about Saturday. They trailed the New York Guardians, 27-6, in the third quarter when Austin Walter tried to ignite Dallas.
Walter, a 5-foot-8, 197-pound running back from Rice, took a kickoff and returned it 97 yards for a touchdown. The PAT failed and the Renegades still trailed 27-12.

The TD was the second TD in the young XFL season. Both of them have come against the Guardians, whose special teams coach has to be concerned. The first came on a reverse against the St. Louis BattleHawks.
