WATCH: RB Aidan Robbins scores first Browns touchdown of the 2024 season

The rookie finds paydirt for the first time!

The Cleveland Browns had a decent showing from their starters in the preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Jameis Winston led a scoring drive, making some nice throws.

However, after quarterback Tyler Huntley came into the game, the Browns did not have much luck moving the ball offensively. Until Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the preseason hero from a year ago, came onto the field. It was under Thompson-Robinson’s guidance that the Browns found their first touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter.

Driving the Browns all the way down the field, sitting 14-of-18 passing for 134 yards, the second-year quarterback got the football all the way down to the goal line. That is where undrafted power back from BYU Aidan Robbins came in to hammer the football across the goal line.

The Browns dropped the game to the Packers by a score of 23-10, but there were some solid performances to hang their hat on. Starting, for the second straight season, with Thompson-Robinson.
