Watch: Randall Cobb holds on after being unloaded on, scores TD

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Randall Cobb hangs onto the ball for a touchdown despite an illegal hit.

The Dallas Cowboys weren’t satisfied with a three-point hafltime lead so with under two minutes to play, quarterback Dak Prescott went to work, finding wide receiver Randall Cobb for two big plays, one of which resulted in a touchdown.

The first of the two chunk plays might have gone for more if Cobb hadn’t been tripped up by the turf monster. Regardless, it was still good for 49 yards, showcasing the skills that many thought would lend him being an upgrade over receiver Cole Beasley.

On his second catch of the drive, Cobb absorbed an illegal hit to secure the ball and a touchdown.

Cobb has 82 yards on the day after hitting 100 yards for the first time last week against the Minnesota Vikings. The Cowboys now lead 24-14 heading into the half.
