John Johnson has been a staple for the Rams for the last four seasons, starting 48 games at safety in Los Angeles. He’s become one of the best safeties in football after entering the NFL as a third-round pick in 2017, finally earning some much-deserved recognition this week.
The Browns gave him a three-year, $33.75 million deal in free agency, prying the elite safety away from Los Angeles. It’s the first major loss suffered by the Rams this offseason, and they showed him a lot of respect by sharing a highlight montage on his way out of Southern California.
Watch the touching sendoff posted by the Rams on Twitter below, thanking him for the last four years.
