The play of the game for the Raiders came on defense if you can believe it. After giving up 30 points to the Panthers, they were on the move again in the final two minutes.
Nicholas Morrow made the stop on Christian McCaffrey on 3rd and 4, just shy of the first down marker.
Down four, needing a first down to keep their hopes alive, the Panthers went for it on fourth and one from the Las Vegas 46-yard-line. They gave the ball to the up back Alex Armah and in the hole, he met a wall of Clelin Ferrell and Raekwon McMillan. Then on a second effort, Cory Littleton stuffed him again. Take a look.

“We can say whatever we want about the defense, they got the stop when we needed it,” said Gruden after the game. “The fourth quarter defense and fourth-quarter pass rush is going to be a big part of winning in this league and I’m just happy to get a win for the Las Vegas Raiders.”
The Raiders took over, ran the clock down to 14 seconds and punted it away, giving the Panthers’ just eight seconds from their own 27-yard-line. They didn’t come close to making it and the Raiders escaped with the 34-30 win.
