Justin. Freakin’. Fields. He can’t seem to help himself but perform a magic trick once or twice a game, with this instance quite possibly being his most impressive play on the year.
Fields was already throwing and running all over a vulnerable Falcons defense, finding receivers open all over and supplementing his solid passing day with a healthy dose of QB scrambles.
His most awe-inspiring scramble came at the midway point of the third quarter, when Fields was immediately faced with pressure on the third and long snap. He dodged and escaped multiple defenders, changing what was certain to be an ill-fated down into a first down run.

There’s much rampant discussion on whether Fields is capable of leading the franchise for the foreseeable future, but one thing is clear. If Chicago decides to tie the team to a rookie first-round quarterback, that player will not be able to create highlight plays on the same caliber as Fields.
Fields is putting on a dazzling performance in what could be his last game in front of the Chicago home crowd.
