In my first mock draft of 2021, I projected Purdue receiver Rondale Moore to the Packers with the 29th overall pick, thinking that Aaron Rodgers would be quite happy with this particular weapon.
Opposing defenses were able to double [Davante] Adams with impunity with deep safeties because there was nobody to force those defenders into the box as underneath weapons in the passing game. The addition of Rondale Moore would be huge for Matt LaFleur’s offense because Moore is so dynamic on screens, slants, and other quick routes. Combined with Green Bay’s pre-snap motion concepts and play-action game, having a weapon of Moore’s caliber, especially after the catch, would give the Packers an entirely different (and much-needed) dimension.
In an abbreviated 2020 season of just three games, Moore caught 35 passes for 270 yards and added 32 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Over three seasons, he totaled 178 catches for 1,915 yards and 14 touchdowns, with 248 yards and three more touchdowns on 32 carries.
How was Moore able to do all this at 5-foot-7 (official)? Blazing speed, and he showed it at his pro day on Tuesday, per Stacey Dales of the NFL Network. To put this in perspective, Tyreek Hill ran an official 4.29 40-yard dash at his 2016 pro day at West Alabama.

Moore also put up a 42.5-inch vertical leap… again, dude is 5-foot-7. That’s not fair.

Moore chose not to bench press (probably because he didn’t have to after all that), but here he is squatting 600 pounds at 180:

That’ll do. Moore already projected as a late first-round talent, and these numbers will have scouts and executives looking back at his tape. Methinks they’ll like what they see.
Rondale Moore.
