Former Denver Broncos great Peyton Manning passed along his concern and best wishes to current Broncos star linebacker Von Miller, who injured his ankle at the end of practice Tuesday.
“Hey, I’m sorry about the news. Just want you to know you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. We’ll be pulling for you in this recovery. I know you’ll attack it like you have everything else and be better for it,” Manning said. “I’m always here for you, and if I can do anything for you… We’ll be pulling hard for you.”
“We’ll be pulling hard for ya, pal. Get well soon.”

An MRI revealed Miller suffered a dislocated peroneal tendon. Surgery is usually the primary route, with a recovery time of 5-6 months; a best-case scenario is three months.
Coach Vic Fangio said Miller will be placed on IR.
