The New England Patriots had trouble getting offense going in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
However, a touchdown pass from quarterback Drake Maye in the fourth quarter got things rolling a bit. Maye rolled out of the pocket and connected on a shuffle pass to wide receiver Demario Douglas for the touchdown catch.
The drive itself took six plays, 75 yards and 2: 25 off the clock. It was Douglas’ second touchdown reception of the season, and it put the Patriots right at the 10-point threshold following the extra point.
It was Maye’s first touchdown of the game, marking the sixth game in a row he has thrown a touchdown pass.

It was a difficult day for the Patriots on both sides of the ball on Sunday. Nevertheless, plays like this one reinforced the fact that Maye is a playmaker and a vital part of the organization’s future.
