The Baltimore Ravens traveled across the country to take on the No. 1 team in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers for a Christmas Night showdown.
This was a matchup that could be a preview of the 2024 Super Bowl and the Ravens came out on top 33-19. Going into the game, Brock Purdy, the starting quarterback for the 49ers had been receiving a lot of hype about him possibly being the MVP this season, but the Ravens’ defense had other plans.
Former LSU Tiger [autotag]Patrick Queen[/autotag] picked off Purdy in the third quarter for what would be Purdy’s fourth interception of the game. Purdy ended up being pulled out of the game in the fourth quarter in favor of Sam Darnold.
With the win, the Ravens get even closer to securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The No. 1 seed in the AFC will either be the Ravens, Dolphins or the Browns. Yes, you read that right. Joe Flacco and the Browns.
Baltimore will take on the Dolphins next week.
