Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson had his second interception of the season on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. It came on the Browns’ first drive of the game.
The Cardinals scored first, taking a 7-0 lead on the first drive of the game. Cleveland responded by moving down the field but came away with no points.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield targeted receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the end zone but threw the ball high. Peterson jumped and got his fingertips on the ball. He held on and took the ball away. Cleveland came away with no points.
They would ultimately lose 38-24.
Peterson played well, following Beckham most of the game. Beckham finished with eight catches for only 66 yards.
