Before the rest of the association opens the annual Summer League in Las Vegas, the Golden State Warriors and a few other teams are getting a head start with the opening of the California Classic at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
The 2024 Summer League edition of the Golden State Warriors opened the California Classic on Saturday night with a contest against the Miami Heat. Golden State two-way guard Pat Spencer wasted no time adding to his Summer League highlight reel.
In the fourth quarter, Spencer picked off a pass in open court, leading the way for a fast break. Spencer finished the coast-to-coast run with an emphatic dunk at the rim. Spencer flew past Heat guard Josh Christopher for a must-see one-handed jam.

The Warriors will be back on the court at the California Classic on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. PT against the Los Angeles Lakers.
