WATCH: Odafe Oweh comes up with game-saving fumble for Ravens

WATCH: Former Penn State star Odafe Oweh made the play of the night in the Ravens-Chiefs game

It was quite the Week 2 in the NFL for a number of former Penn State football players, but rookie defensive lineman Odafe Oweh may have had the biggest play of the day by a former Nittany Lion.

Oweh’s Baltimore Ravens were in the Sunday Night Football spotlight on NBC with a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Like Penn State’s game with Auburn on Saturday night, this was a game that went deep into the fourth quarter with the Ravens coming up strong in the final quarter of the game.

After scoring 12 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, the Ravens were looking to hold on to a one-point lead as the Chiefs were making their way down the field and in range for a long field goal attempt at the very worst. But on a simple run up the middle, Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was stopped by Oweh behind the line of scrimmage. Oweh also was able to knock the football loose out of the back’s hands, and Oweh happened to be in the right place at the right time for a fumble recovery.

It was quite a moment for the rookie out of Penn State.

The Ravens held on for a wild 36-35 victory over the Chiefs to even their record at 1-1.
