As we approach Christmas, this is the time to be thinking about others who are in need for one reason or another. One such group of people is kids battling cancer. Notre Dame lacrosse player [autotag]Max Manyak[/autotag] thinks about these kids throughout the year. In fact, Pediatric Pep Talk is his brainchild, and he talked about it in this report for CBS News:
Students @NotreDame are a force for good. It was inspiring to see this story about Maxim Manyak featured on the CBS Evening News on Saturday.

It goes without saying, but to see this many Notre Dame student-athletes across all sports take part in a program that can give such a morale boost to kids going through such a horrible plight is wonderful. Just the thought of these student-athletes who are seen as heroes to a lot of these kids already making this effort has to melt even the iciest Hopefully, as the report indicates, this will be expanding to other universities before too long. In the meantime, you can donate to this cause to help it better reach its goals.
