Watch: Nick Saban, Alabama players march in silent protest for social justice

Nick Saban and his team marched through Alabama’s campus on Monday.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban and his football team took a stand on Monday in a silent protest, marching with other athletes and students in a call for social justice.

“Today, I’m like a proud parent,” Saban said. “I’m proud of our team. I’m proud of our messengers and I’m proud of our message.”

Gus Malzahn and Auburn held a similar march back in June when they walked from the football stadium to downtown for a rally.

“Our players and our coaches, we’re in this thing together,” Malzahn said on Sunday. “We’re united with our plans moving forward.”
