Cooper Kupp made the NFL’s Top 100 Players list for the first time this year, coming in at No. 89. He was unranked after his first two seasons in the NFL, but after an 1,100-yard, 10-touchdown season in 2019, he was tough to keep off the list.
The rankings are voted on by NFL players themselves, so it’s a gauge of how guys are viewed across the league. Kupp is obviously well-respected by his peers, which was also evident in a video of Damarious Randall and Allen Robinson evaluating the Rams receiver’s game.
Randall complimented Kupp for being an excellent route runner, putting him in the conversation as one of the league’s best.
“I feel like he’s one of the top guys in the league, definitely,” Randall said. “Savvy, deceptive and I don’t think he gets enough credit for his route running but his route running is one of the tops in the league.”

In addition to his route running, Robinson mentioned Kupp’s ability after the catch. He’s proven capable of breaking tackles and picking up big yardage after hauling in a pass, which is valuable – especially in an offense like Sean McVay’s.
“In the highlights and stuff that I watched, he’s very good after the catch – like a slant he ran against the Saints. He made a couple moves, stiff-armed some people. Being able to watch those plays he’s able to make after the catch, it’s fun to watch,” Robinson said.
Randall agreed: “He is definitely one of those guys that’s difficult to stop.”
Kupp is the first of three Rams players to be revealed in the top 100. Aaron Donald is certain to be one of the other two left, with Ramsey likely in the top 100, too. That means Jared Goff and Robert Woods, who both made the top 100 last year, will be left off the list this year.
