The Atlanta Falcons are currently meeting with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for the second time this week. Rumors have linked the Falcons to Belichick since before the team fired head coach Arthur Smith.
The reports were true, however, and it feels like it’s just a matter of time before the team announces Belichick as the 19th head coach in franchise history. Will Belichick get full control? Will general manager Terry Fontenot still be involved in constructing the roster? Will the team draft a quarterback?
While there’s no way to know the answers to these questions until Belichick is hired, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero broke down how these interviews are likely to go. Watch Pelissero’s appearance on the “Rich Eisen Show” below.
