Need a little motivation to get through the week? Saturday and college football is almost here…so here is some Rutgers fanfare.
Rutgers football, from the players to the coaching staff, is getting ready for Saturday’s game at SHI Stadium. But they are not the only ones taking to the field to practice.
Away from all the hype around the 2-0 Scarlet Knights football teams, the different Rutgers spirit teams are putting in work for Saturday’s second home game of the season. It is a labor of love that sees the cheer team, spirit team and the Scarlet Knights mascot on the field, putting in plenty of practice time.
As captured by P.J. Mullen, the Assistant Athletic Director at Rutgers of Marketing/Game Presentation, the groups are putting in lots of time to add to the gameday atmosphere and tighten their routines:

Shoutout to the @Rutgers_Cheer @RUdanceteam and @RUScarletKnight students for spending 3+ hours running through countless new (and old but new again) routines tonight‼️
