WATCH: Nebraska Cornhuskers At Oklahoma Sooners – Key Facts, Stats

Oklahoma and Nebraska resume their rivalry for the first time since 2010 in Week 3.

The No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners are coming off the biggest blowout of the 2021 college football season, having defeated Western Carolina 76-0 in Week 2. The Sooners are back home again in Week 3, hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big 12-Big Ten rivalry matchup. Nebraska is 2-1, one of the select teams that played in CFB’s Week 0. It lost a close game to Illinois to open the season and has since easily beat Fordham and Buffalo. This week’s game against Oklahoma is one of the Cornhuskers’ biggest tests of the season, and their first game against a ranked opponent.
This will be the 87th meeting between the two teams, who began their rivalry in 1912. This is the first meeting between the two teams since Nebraska left the Big 12 conference after the 2010 season, effectively ending the rivalry as fans knew it. The schools will play a home-and-home series in 2021-2022, and again in 2029-2030. Oklahoma is the favorite in this one. Go to Tipico Sportsbook for the most updated odds:
