Alabama running back Najee Harris has had quite the senior year with the Crimson Tide, and it got a bit interesting off the field during his media availability ahead of the 2020 College Football Playoff championship vs. Ohio State.
He enters his final game of the season finishing No. 5 in the Heisman voting and an incredible stat line that consists of 1,733 yards from scrimmage and 27 touchdowns.
While taking questions during today’s media availability for players and coaches, Harris heard a familiar voice.
It was that of Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle, a reporter who had covered Harris during his time in high school in Antioch, California.
"… don't act fake now, Ron."
Najee Harris recognized the voice of a reporter who covered him in high school 😂 @ohthatsNajee22
