A few missed opportunities and costly mistakes again killed the Spartans in a tough loss against Ohio State on Saturday.
Michigan State hung around for most of the first half but a late touchdown by Ohio State pushed the game to three scores and ultimately created a hole the Spartans couldn’t dig out of in the 38-7 loss. This marks the ninth straight game Michigan State has lost at home to Ohio State.
With the loss, Michigan State drops to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten play on the season. The Spartans have now lost two straight games, and have another tough game ahead at top 10 Oregon next week.
