Michigan State basketball picked up a massive road win on Friday night over Ohio State, so obviously they were going to be fired up in the locker room afterward.
The Spartans utilized a strong defensive effort to overcome a poor shooting performance from three-point range to beat the Buckeyes. The final score of the game was 69-62.
Michigan State was led in scoring by Szymon Zapala (15 points) and Jaden Akins (14 points) in the win. Coen Carr also again reached double-digits in points with 11 off the bench.
Michigan State improved to 12-2 overall and 3-0 in Big Ten play following the win. The Spartans have won seven straight games dating back to the Maui Invitational in November.
