Moses Moody was thrust into the Golden State Warriors’ starting lineup against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. He replaced the injured Andrew Wiggins. It was his fifth start of the season and his 43rd appearance. Despite having inconsistent minutes of late, Moody has produced at a high level when given the opportunity. Once again, he didn’t disappoint.
In 22 minutes of playing time, Moody provided the Warriors with 12 points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals. He shot 57.1%, with all of his attempts coming from 3-point range. There’s no denying Moody’s performance was impressive. However, his snatch-back 3-point shot against Landry Shamet in transition will be what he’s remembered for in that game.
Moody’s quick display of skill rapidly turned into a highlight as he sent Shamet to the floor before sinking his pull-up jumper from the strong side corner.
