WATCH: Mitchell Trubisky’s 45-yard scramble sets up Bears TD vs. Falcons

The Bears scored their first touchdown of the game near the end of the second half, thanks to a 45-yard scramble by QB Mitchell Trubisky.

The Chicago Bears offense has returned to its 2019 form against the Atlanta Falcons in the first half, as their third down struggles continue and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky continues to flash inconsistency.

But the Bears did manage to escape a brutal first half with a touchdown, thanks to the legs of Trubisky. On first-and-10 from the 50-yard line, Trubisky took off running through a wide open middle of the field for 45 yards.

That scramble set the Bears up with first-and-goal from the Atlanta 5-yard line, where Trubisky soon found tight end Jimmy Graham for a 2-yard touchdown.

The Bears trail the Falcons 16-10 at halftime.
