Mike Evans went into Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers needing just 83 yards to secure his ninth consecutive 1,000-yard season.
He eclipsed that mark in style late in the second quarter, hauling in a 63-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady.
Evans is the only player in NFL history to start his career with more than seven straight seasons of more than 1,000 receiving yards, breaking the previous mark held by Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
