True freshman wide receiver Marvin Mims made another addition to his highlight-reel inaugural season, connecting with quarterback Spencer Rattler on a truly acrobatic 27-yard reception.
Once again, the Sooners appear dominant in the series and walk away with a blowout victory as Spencer Rattler throws for 301 yards on 17-24 passing with four touchdowns. Rhamonsdre Stevenson finished with 141 yards on 26 carries.
Mike Gundy moves to 2-14 against Oklahoma while Lincoln Riley improves to 4-0 in the series. More importantly, the win shifts Oklahoma into a second-place tie alongside Texas and Oklahoma State. With the Sooners owning head-to-head wins over both the Cowboys and the Longhorns, Oklahoma is currently in the drivers’ seat to appear in the Big 12 championship game against the first-place Iowa State Cyclones.
