Jones has performed well all preseason and is pushing veteran and former NFL MVP Cam Newton for the starting quarterback position in New England.
Jones has surprised many people around the league during the preseason with his arm strength and accuracy and has even drawn some comparisons to Patriots legend Tom Brady.
Jones was selected with the fifteenth pick of the 2021 NFL draft.
