This is the one time this website will ever share an Ohio State defensive highlight. It comes under special circumstances, as Wisconsin’s new Head Coach Luke Fickell was a Buckeye back in the day.
Fickell played nose guard for the Buckeyes from 1993-1996, starting a record 50 consecutive games at the position. The Badgers’ head coach then made it to the NFL briefly, only for an ACL injury to in essence end his career.
Fickell was part of many big moments with the Buckeyes as a player, including starting a 1997 Rose Bowl win with a torn pectoral muscle. He then obviously won a National Championship with the program as an assistant coach in 2014.
