Lonzo Ball enters this off-season fully healthy for the first time in his professional career and he’s already taking full advantage of it.
While it wasn’t the infamous hills in his hometown, Ball took to some Southern California hills for a workout alongside All-Star Trae Young. The pairing hit the sandhills in Malibu in a video posted to YouTube by EBA Sports on Friday.
The pairing took part in what looked to be a pretty grueling workout that included sprints up the hillside in the sand over a course of multiple days. The group also did work with weighted balls in the drills.
While Ball has always been a hard worker and has done what he can in the off-season, this is the first time he’s been able to really work on his lower body. A knee surgery after his rookie season and an ankle sprain and bone bruise after his sophomore season sidelined him throughout the summer months and limited what he could do in terms of training and development.
