Josh Hart has carved out a steady role on two separate NBA teams in his short time in the league. Hart fills in the role as a 3&D guard, a perfect player in the modern NBA. He’s a reliable three-point shooter that can play multiple positions on the floor. With the Pelicans, he’s been one of the few constant members of the rotation in an injury-riddled season.
Yet, he’s most known for something not related to his play at all. Hart has become an internet meme for his ability to be left hanging on high five attempts by any and all teammates.
Hart did not work on his communication during the NBA’s hiatus as his return to scrimmage was marred by yet another high-five miscue, this time with Lonzo Ball.
Nothing says basketball is back like @joshhart getting left hanging 😂 pic.twitter.com/vvxbcwlD6b

While Hart’s tweet was featured in the video, Ball defended himself as well on social media.
Man he was asking for the play lol https://t.co/rLln48mNCI

Hart, Ball and the Pelicans won their first game in over three months against the Nets on Wednesday, dominating the second half of the scrimmage to earn a 99-68 win.
