WATCH: Larry Bird’s ULTIMATE career mixtape on his 64th birthday

Check out all of Bird’s best career highlights in this amazing supercut.

The Boston Celtics have had an embarrassment of riches when it comes to talented players passing through their organization, and legendary forward Larry Bird is among the best of those players to wear the green and white over the last seven decades and change.

And today is the Celtic icon’s 64th birthday, so to celebrate his 13-year career with the team, three titles, 12 All-Star bids and 10 All-NBA elections among many, many other honors, we’re posting this outstanding supercut made by the NBA to honor the Hick from French Lick — as Bird is sometimes called — for his Hall of Fame career.

Generally regarded as one of the top 10 players to play the game by almost any account out there, the Indiana State product’s pro career began in the same game the NBA 3-pointer did in 1979, and would run until he retired at the end of the 1991-92 season, all with the Celtics.

Over that stretch, he logged an average of 24.3 points, 10 boards, 6.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game with the team.
