LaMelo Ball shined bright for the second straight night on Saturday. After a strong performance off the bench in a win over the Pacers on Friday, Ball one-upped it with a career-best performance on Saturday.
Hosting one of the Eastern Conference’s elites in Milwaukee, Ball stepped up in the second half for the injured Terry Rozier to lead the Hornets to a 126-114 win. He finished with 27 points, nine assists, five rebounds and four steals.
Most impressive was that he missed just two shots on the night, going 8-of-10 from the field, 2-of-3 from the 3-point line and 9-of-9 from the free throw line. His second-half performance was most impressive as he tallied 18 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Ball scored or assisted on 13 of the final 15 points of the game for Charlotte. He also finished with a game-high plus-minus of +37.
