Just because Los Angeles Lakers fans have celebrated 17 NBA titles doesn’t mean they’re going to hold back after LeBron James and Co. brought home the Larry O’Brien Trophy again.
And 2020 was different, of course. In January, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died tragically, and this Lakers team made sure to honor them in many different ways.
Lakers fans did too. After the title win, a bunch of fans gathered near the Staples Center in L.A. and at one point, they chanted Bryant’s name during the celebration, which was captured on social media.
