The Chicago Bears offense has found new life in the second half of Sunday’s opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
After quarterback Justin Fields failed to connect with any wide receivers in the first half, he now has two deep passing touchdowns to wideouts in the second half on back-to-back drives.
Following a 51-yard touchdown pass to Dante Pettis, Fields found Equanimeous St. Brown for an 18-yard touchdown. The Bears offense marched 84 yards in 10 plays for the score.
Interesting enough, Equanimeous and his brother Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown scored touchdowns three minutes apart on Sunday.
