WATCH: Just how real is the Boston Celtics’ eight-game winning streak?

Critics are quick to point to the difficulty of the schedule — is that fair?

The Boston Celtics are the current owners of the longest streak of winning games in the entire NBA with eight victories in a row catapulting the Celtics up to become the team in sole possession of the Eastern Conference’s sixth-place slot with a 33 – 25 record.

But, as critics are quick to point out, Boston has been playing a comparatively light schedule in recent weeks after an absolutely brutal slate for the first half of the 2021-22 NBA season. Which in turn begs the question of just how real — and impactful — is this new iteration of the ball club?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “A-List” podcast Kwani A. Lunis, A. Sherrod Blakely, and Gary Washburn got together on a recent episode to debate exactly this point, as well as how the team’s moves at the 2022 NBA trade deadline changed the Celtics moving forward.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear how the trio see this version of Boston’s future on the court.
