Josh Allen is playing like a league MVP, and in the process the Buffalo Bills quarterback is forcing people to throw out various rulebooks. Preconceived notions of quarterback evaluation, quarterback development, and the classic blunders need to be rethought given how well the young quarterback is playing right now.
One of those “classic blunders?” Never make a late throw falling down.
Consider that another classic blunder that Allen is forcing us to reconsider:
Josh Allen is a magician and you can’t tell us otherwise

These are the kinds of plays that often result in turnovers. A throw late in the down, under pressure, made almost on a whim. But Allen somehow has enough to get this throw off, accurately, to Stefon Diggs. Even more amazing is that Diggs secures the completion and has enough time to prepare his body, spin away from contact, and actually pick up yardage after the catch.
Allen is playing at another level right now, and making everyone rethink the QB rules in the process.
