During Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Jordan Poole added a clip to his highlight-reel with a buzzer-beater from the halfcourt logo as time expired in the third quarter.
On Monday night in Game 5, the 22-year-old guard struck again.
With just seconds remaining in the third quarter, Andrew Wiggins corralled a rebound and quickly found Poole streaking up the floor. With the clock ticking down, Poole heaved a deep 3-pointer that banked in as the third quarter came to an end.
Along with giving Golden State a one-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter, Poole’s shot at the buzzer set the Chase Center crowd into a frenzy.
