Joe Douglas’ first pick as Jets general manager is in the books.
Douglas picked Mekhi Becton, a 6-foot-7, 364-pound offensive tackle out of Louisville, with the 11th pick on Thursday night. The pick was Douglas’ first as an NFL general manager, so naturally, he celebrated the selection with his family.

Douglas certainly looked relieved that the Jets got the tackle that they sought all along. However, he’s got plenty of work ahead of him with two more days of drafting.
