Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase couldn’t be stopped early in the wild card playoffs encounter with the Baltimore Ravens.
Chase scored the game’s first touchdown, a seven-yard pass from Joe Burrow, to put his team up 9-0 (Evan McPherson missed the extra point).
By that point in tthe game, Chase had already caught all six of his targets for 52 yards and the touchdown while no other player in the game had more than two catches.
It was yet another classic duel between Chase and Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters on the boundary. To that point, at least, Chase had again been dominating the matchup.
